Ieisha Kemal Lyday is a 23-year-old senior at Texas Southern University, becoming a proud member of the TSU community after transferring from Lincoln University in 2015.

    Lyday is obtaining her Bachelor of Arts in Journalism with a concentration in Advertising-Public Relations, but works on many other projects outside her college life. She has been a brand ambassador for TuBitxhyButique, an online clothing store started in New York City, and has done print modeling for WinkzBlinkz, a self-started eyelash extension business. Not slowing down, Lyday has interned as a model client and promoter for Lavish Lyfe Ent., a company founded by another TSU student that provides PR services for all types of entertainers. She has also collaborated with notable public figures on assignments.

     When it comes to publicity, Lyday says she “thinks outside the box” to come up with strategies to get clients maximum exposure. She loves to “be a resource to the resource” and has developed innovative marketing tools for clients to target their audience in a way that is more than memorable.
